On My Way Home

I am sure everyone can relate to a point in their life when they were feeling weak as a follower of Christ. Perhaps its in decisions, words, actions or just living holy life that challenges us. I know how it feels like to be at that point. And what seemed to help me in those situation, is realigning my focus on what is important. The following passage is one of those.

I am on my way home. This is my life’s journey. Sure, there are bumps and obstacles on it. But when I ask, my Father picks me up on wings like eagle’s, and I rise above it all. His presence is shelter for me. His word is my daily bread, and prayer is water. Whom shall I be afraid of? I am on this journey according to His will! I am under Lords protection. There is nothing that can bring true danger to me, for my life is in His hands. Yes, I do get confused and at times feel lost. Fear seems to find its place in my heart, and doubts in my mind. Yet, I find comfort in Him. He is the shepherd and knows what is the best for me. And as a loving Teacher, instructs me to find peace in Him. Therefore, this is a journey to my everlasting life and I am truly glad to be on it!

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Romans 8:38, 39 NLT
